Christina “Chrissy” Sturino, 46, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at her residence.
Christina was born on August 29, 1979, to James and Frances (Zappa) Prevost.
Chrissy and her husband, Jonathan, waited so long for a child, and they had a beautiful son, Michael. She was a devoted and loving mother to Michael, along with her loving husband, and she was able to have her perfect family. Christina was a very kind, loving, and fiercely loyal person to all those in her life. She was always willing to do anything for anyone. Christina was very proud of her Italian heritage. She was a huge sports fan, Black Hawks, White Sox, Notre Dame, and the Juventus FC Soccer Club.
Christina is survived by her loving husband Jonathan, her son Michael, her parents James and Francis Prevost, her brother James Prevost, her sister Andrea Prevost, her father and mother-in-law Mike Wilson and Ruth Ann Schend, in-laws Jason and Erin and their daughters Mykenna and Leah, and Joseph and Courtney and their family, Selia, Teddy, and one on the way. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Memorial Mass for Christina will be held on Tuesday, July 7th, at 4:00 p.m. at St. Anne’s Catholic Church (9091 Prairie Ridge Blvd.). Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of Mass. Memorials would be appreciated by the family.
