Sharon Lacy, 64, of Racine, passed away on June 21, 2026.
Sharon was born on July 3, 1961, in Japan, the daughter of the late William A. and Dorothy (Burnworth) Lacy. She was educated in the schools in Zion, IL, and Kenosha. Sharon married Wayne McCartney in Kenosha. She worked for Kenosha Steel Casting Foundry as a medical fabricator for many years. Her hobbies included vacationing, camping, butterflies, collecting oriental trinkets, enjoying diamond art, loving old rock and roll music, being a huge fan of the Chicago Bears, but most of all, she loved spending time with her friends and family.
Survivors include her brother, John Lacy of Denver, CO; sister, Debra (Craig) Duba of Antioch, IL; nieces, Anna (David) Lindal of Racine, Emily (Tim King) Lacy of Kenosha; also included is her special friend, Deborah Soldan of FL. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Wayne; brothers, William L. Lacy and Patrick Lacy; and her son, Dustin John Moats.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
