Tyler Lee Lohmeyer-Wakefield, 20, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, and Chaska, Minnesota, passed away on May 31, 2026, as a result of an automobile accident in Hurst, Texas.
Born on November 12, 2005, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Tyler was the beloved son of Natasha Lohmeyer and Tracey Wakefield. He graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School in 2024 and later pursued a degree in Carpentry through Gateway Technical College. Tyler gained management experience at various fast-food restaurants before transitioning to carpentry work. One of his dreams was to start a vlog documenting his travels and inspiring others to pursue their full potential.
Outside of work, Tyler was known for being personable, bright, caring, ambitious, and athletic. He enjoyed staying active, fishing, and traveling whenever he had the opportunity. He cherished helping others and spending time with friends and family, especially Araceli, who was near and dear to his heart. Tyler loved people and embraced life with tenacity, enthusiasm, and kindness.
Tyler was preceded in death by his grandfather, Henry Hardin; grandmother, Christine Wakefield; aunts Rita Williams and Tina Fragassi; uncle Christopher Wakefield, on his father’s side; and uncle Matthew “Hot Wheels” Acord, on his mother’s side.
He is survived by his mother, Natasha Lohmeyer; his father, Tracey Wakefield; his siblings, Daniel Wakefield, Reuben Wakefield, Alyssia Wakefield, Nathan Acord, Lucas Acord, and Arianna Acord; his stepfather, David Acord; and loving grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Divine Destinations Church, located at 238 Chicago St., Racine, WI 53405.
