It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Craig J. Goodwin, who left us on Thursday, June 17, 2026, at the age of 74, surrounded by the love of his family.
Craig was born on August 1, 1951, to John and Reeva (Penman) Goodwin. He graduated from Bradford High School and went on to build a life marked by dedication, kindness, and service to others. A longtime resident of Kenosha, Wisconsin, Craig was a devoted husband, loving family man, and cherished friend whose warm smile, quick wit, and generous spirit left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
From 1975 until 1983, Craig proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. His military service reflected the sense of duty, honor, and commitment that he carried throughout his life.
On November 11, 1987, he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Marianne Harris. Together, they built a strong and loving partnership filled with laughter, adventure, and countless treasured memories.
He was employed as a Special Agent for the United States Government for 35 years.
Craig is survived by his beloved wife, Marianne Goodwin, who was not only his partner in life but also his closest friend and greatest confidante. Together, they shared a lifetime of love and unwavering support. Craig had a remarkable ability to connect with people, making everyone feel welcome through his kindness, humor, and genuine interest in others.
Craig was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Kathryn Philo and Sandra Jeffries.
As we remember Craig, we celebrate a life well lived—one filled with love, laughter, service, and meaningful connections. Whether sharing one of his favorite stories, offering a helping hand, or simply enjoying time with family and friends, Craig brought joy and comfort to those around him.
Though he is no longer with us, the memories he created and the love he shared will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
