Muriel Theresa Durbin, age 98, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully
at The Legacy at St. Joseph’s Assisted Living Facility in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin
on Sunday, June 14th, 2026. A private funeral mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on
Wednesday, July 1st, 2026, at the Legacy at St. Joseph’s Assisted Living Facility in
Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. A visitation will also be held at Legacy at St. Joseph’s Assisted Living Facility on the same day from 10 A.M. Following the funeral mass, the burial will take place at All Saints Cemetery in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.
She was born on November 16, 1927, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the daughter of the
late John and Alice (Hurtubise) Beaumier. She attended Kenosha schools. On
September 6, 1947, she married Delvin Ray Durbin at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in
Kenosha, Wisconsin. She kept very busy as a mother and homemaker raising 11
children. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Over the years, she
enjoyed traveling with family members, flower gardening, biking, camping, and
many family gatherings with her large family. She appreciated the many visits
from family and friends.

Joseph (Esterlyn) Durbin of Bristol, WI Margaret (Glenn) Severinsen of Caledonia,
WI Jeanne (Jeff) Lauer of Spring Hill, TN. She is survived by 24 grandchildren, 33
great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Muriel is also survived by
one sister, Anna Belle Ralph of Kenosha.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Delvin Durbin; her parents, John J.
and Alice M. Beaumier, her brother Elward Beaumier, her sisters Claramae
Minkey and Rose Alice Morris, two half-brothers, Roland and Wallace Nantell, and
half-sister Noella Curtiss, her daughters Patricia and Theresa, grandsons Jeff Bloss
and Eric Phillips, great grandson Caleb Islas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be
given directly to The Legacy at St. Joseph’s Assisted Living Facility or memorial
masses said for her.
