Connie Romay Johnson (maiden Romay), age 82, of Pleasant Prairie, Wisc., formerly of Lake Villa, Ill., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.
A Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 13, from 9 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 11 a.m. at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee, Ill., followed by interment at Ascension Catholic Cemetery in Libertyville.
Connie is survived by her children and their families, Josel (Kathleen) Romay, Stephannie Bohr, Steve (Heather) Bohr; and stepchildren and their families, Lisa (Glen), Kurt Johnson, Morgan (Steven) Caruso, and Courtney (Quinton) Buchanan; grandchildren, Jonathan Romay, Nicholas Crane, Kayli and Gage Bohr, Anna Polnow and Kelli (Shelby) Jones, Joey (Lasel) Johnson, Nora and Harrison Caruso, Henry and Theodore Buchanan; and great-grandchildren, Eli and Evalynn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Johnson, a retired United States Navy veteran; her father, Sergio Romay; and her mother, Cristita Romay.
