Robert G. Raboine, 89, of Burlington, passed away Monday, June 1, 2026, at Pine Brook Pointe.
Born in Aurora, Illinois, on May 13, 1937, he was the son of Royal and Mary (nee Gurbal) Raboine. His early life was spent in Illinois before moving to Kansasville at age 13 to the family farm in December of 1950. On August 3, 1957, he was united in marriage to Roselyn Vogt at St. Joseph’s Parish. Following marriage, they made their home in Kansasville and raised their six children. In 1997, they moved to Burlington.
Robert worked as a dairy farmer and was a member of St. Mary Parish and the Knights of Columbus. He played on many baseball and softball teams and horseshoe and bowling leagues. He was a big sports fan – and enjoyed watching local teams, whether extended family were playing or not, as well as college and professional teams from Wisconsin.
