William Jacob, 91, of Cable, WI, passed away unexpectedly on May 24, 2026, in Hayward, WI.
William was born on May 7, 1935, in Kenosha, the son of the late William S. and Dorothea (Becker) Jacob. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha, graduating from Bradford High School. William married Kay Stine on October 22, 1955, in Kenosha. He worked for AMC/Chrysler as a hydraulic specialist for 32 years. William served in the United States Army. He was a member of The Encounter Church. His hobbies included being an avid hunter and fisherman, golfing, enjoying being outdoors, cheering for the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, Milwaukee Bucks, and the Wisconsin Badgers, but most of all, he loved spending time with his friends and family, especially with his grandchildren. William was always a hard worker and enjoyed having fun!
Survivors include his wife, Kay Jacob of Cable, WI; children, Jayne (Bill) Phillips of Kenosha, Bruce (Lori) Jacob of Kenosha; grandchildren, Tim (Brittany) Plutchak, Cassandra Carroll, Kevin Moldenhauer, Brienne (Jonathon) Helbig, Lauren (Cody) Koukal, Brylee (John) Merritt and Mackenzi (Ephraim) Merritt; also included are 18 great-grandchildren with 1 on the way. William was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Dorothy, Lorraine, and Arlene.
A visitation will be held at The Encounter Church (8900 34th Ave, Kenosha, WI 53142) on Monday, June 1, 2026, from 9:00 AM-11:00 AM, with funeral services to follow immediately at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place at Green Ridge Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to The Encounter Church missions or special projects.
