Linda L. Goes of Delavan, WI, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2026, peacefully at Lakeland Medical Center of Elkhorn, WI. Linda was born on July 3, 1953, the daughter of the late Harlow and Iris (Williams) Leonard of Theater Road, Delavan, WI. Linda was a graduate of Elkhorn High School in 1972. Linda married her husband Charles “Chris” Goes on November 12, 1977, at Como Community Church. Linda was a cosmetologist and enjoyed the outdoors, including skiing, gardening, and being on the lake. Above all, she loved watching her grandkids grow and enjoy life and spending time with her husband, Chris. During her career, she was the hands-on director of Goes Lithographing for 42 years. Linda was a participant in the Walworth County Fair in her youth and was very proud of her 4H awards.
Linda is survived by her husband, Chris; children, Charlie (Elisa) Goes, Eric (Rachel) Goes, and Nels Goes; grandchildren, Kennedy, Charlie, Luke, Liam, Leona, and Greta; siblings, Richard (Sue) Leonard, Geraldine (Steve) Polyock, Patricia Wilson, Mary Ellen (James) Wierzba, and William (Wendy) Leonard. She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Diane Nelson, Kenneth Leonard, and Jeanne Lawlor.
A Funeral Service will be held at Como Community Church, W3901 Palmer Road, Lake Geneva, WI, on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 11:30 AM. Visitation will take place before the funeral, beginning at 10:00 AM. A Funeral Luncheon will take place following the funeral in the church fellowship hall at approximately 12:15 pm. In the spirit of giving, Linda’s last gift was to be a donor of viable tissue/organs.
