Michael James Mackrell, age 51, of Paddock Lake, WI, passed away on May
17th, 2026, at Froedtert South in Pleasant Prairie, WI.
He was born on November 23rd, 1974, in California to Gerald B. Mackrell and Patricia A. (Malone). On January 12th, 2020, Michael married Leah Sotallaro in the Wisconsin Dells.
Most recently, he was employed at Antonia’s Pancake House in Paddock Lake for several years as a server.
Michael was an avid and accomplished musician. In his youth, he enjoyed being a member of the concert, jazz, and marching bands of Conway schools and the University of Central Arkansas. He loved singing, playing piano and saxophone in the Kenosha band Cows in the Shade, and was a former member of The Tone Pirates and The Dudes in Texas.
Family was first in Michael’s life, and he was most proud of his children, especially.
Michael is survived by his loving wife, Leah Mackrell, children, Cori Wallace, Kai Wallace, and Toni Mackrell, mother, Patricia Mackrell, brother, John Mackrell, niece and nephew, Emma and Jack, as well as his uncle Jim MacKrell, aunt Cathy MacKrell, and numerous cousins. He is preceded in death by his father.
As per Michael’s wishes, services will be held at a later date.
