Virginia Sikora, 89, of Kenosha, passed away on May 9, 2026, at Lake Haven Memory Care, surrounded by her loving family.
Virginia was born on March 25, 1937, in Medford, WI, the daughter of the late Ferdinand and Edna (White) Agenten. She was educated in the schools of Kewaskum and West Bend, WI, and is getting a nursing degree from Gateway Technical College. Virginia married Roger Kraning on December 6, 1961, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Kenosha, who later passed away. She then married Ronald Sikora on September 22, 2003, at Friedens Lutheran Church in Kenosha. Virginia worked as a licensed practical nurse for 25 years at Kenosha Memorial Hospital and retired in 1989. She was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church. Her hobbies included sewing, crocheting, reading, and fishing, but most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family, especially with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter, Edith (Gary) Smith of Pleasant Prairie; brothers, Reverend Richard (Beverly) Agenten of Hartford, WI, and Douglas (Gloria) Agenten of Goodhue, MN; also included are 5 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, son, Michael Kraning; brother, Marlin John Agenten; and both of her husbands.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Hartford, WI.
