Thomas Harold Haubrich passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026. His wife Miriam was by his side in his final moments.
Tom was born on October 23, 1943, to Herbert and Dorothy (Crow) in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
He taught biology at Lincoln Jr. High in Kenosha until he got the bug to move west. In 1983, he moved to Prescott, Arizona, with his wife Miriam and sons Scott and Jason. He taught computer technology at Granite Mountain Junior High and Prescott High until his retirement. He also worked in IT for the Forest Service.
He was an avid hunter, a passionate world traveler, and loved photography. The Prescott YMCA was his second home, where he worked out almost daily.
Tom is survived by his wife of 43 years, Miriam Haubrich, sons Scott and Jason Haubrich, three grandchildren, Bonnie Duffy, Calder Haubrich, and Dashiell Haubrich, great-grandchildren Connor, Cooper, and Michael, and his surviving siblings Joan McAfee, James (Ruthanne), and Todd Haubrich. Tom is preceded in death by his parents, Herb and Dorothy, and sister Gail Witscheber.
There was a private celebration of life held.
