Ivan Richard Ginter, 87, of Kenosha, WI, passed away on March 13, 2026, at Avina on 32nd.
Ivan was born on August 24, 1938, in the town of Nashville, WI, the youngest son of William and Gertrude (Sheridan) Ginter.
On August 29, 1959, he married Yvonne Walentowski; they made their home in Bristol, WI, for over 30 years. She preceded him in death on September 6, 1996.
Ivan worked at American Motors until his retirement in 1989.
Ivan loved to travel, garden, work on puzzles, and play his guitar. He was a member of a few small bands throughout the years and enjoyed playing to those who were interested in hearing him play.
Ivan also like classic cars and aviation, many years ago he was a member of the EAA in Kenosha, and enjoyed going to the air shows in Oshkosh.
Ivan is survived by his daughter Corinne (Alvin) Arndt, sons Boyd (Laura) and Bruce (Laurie, grandchildren Heidi Arndt, Jereme (Ellyn) Arndt, Casey (Val), Stephanie (Kevin) Walsh, Dean (Amy), Shane (Kayla), Danielle Ginter, and Tyler Ginter, 18 great grandchildren and one on the way, as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife Yvonne, he is also preceded in death by his son Jeff Ginter, parents William and Gertrude, sisters Betty, Eileen, and Aura, brothers Elmer, James, Lowell, Leon, and Rodney.
Funeral Services for Ivan will be held on Monday, March 23rd at 12:00 p.m. (noon) at the Bruch Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
