Arthur DeFord, 74, of Kenosha, passed away on March 4, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Arthur was born on November 2, 1951, in Kenosha, the son of the late Louis and Virginia (Tutlewski) DeFord. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Arthur married Teresa Fifarek on March 16, 1976, in Kenosha. He was employed as a custodian for the Kenosha Unified School District for many years. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, baseball, being outdoors, strumming the guitar, cheering for the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, Milwaukee Bucks, Wisconsin Badgers, and the Chicago Cubs, but most of all, he loved spending time with his friends and family, especially with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his children, Scott (Jessica) DeFord of N.C., Angela DeFord of Racine, Kevin (Heidi) DeFord of Kenosha; brother, Lonnie DeFord of Kenosha; sister, Bonnie McClay of MN; also included are his 7 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and his brothers, Louis and Allen.
A visitation will be held at Kenosha Funeral Services on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM with funeral services to follow immediately at 1:00 PM.
