June 12, 1947 – February 13, 2026
Diane J. Clifford, 78, of Kenosha, WI, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026, in Okeechobee, Florida. She was born on June 12, 1947, in Kenosha to Ernest and Jane Otto. She is preceded in death by her parents and her best friends, Gail and Kathy.
Diane spent many years as a local bar owner and later retired from Bob’s Grandview, where she proudly worked for 20 years as a manager and bartender. She was known for her quick wit and humor.
Diane was beautiful, smart, sassy, and always there to help when things were tough. She was an amazing mom, grandma, nana, sister, and friend. Diane enjoyed fishing, motorcycling, watching movies, shopping, and traveling to Florida in the winter. She especially cherished time with friends and family and looked forward to weekly family dinners.
Time never seems fair, always running, slipping away, always on someone else’s schedule. It never stops… until suddenly, it does. Time stopped when your heart stopped, and now our hearts feel like they have stopped, too. Miracles should be handed out more often because we sure asked for one for you. But this time, time won, and we’re not sure it can heal this wound.
We know you gave them hell when they made you walk toward that light. Keep giving them hell up there, and we’ll keep giving them hell down here for you. ❤️ It’s never goodbye… It’s until we see you again. We will love and remember you forever.
She is survived by the love of her life, Jim Clifford; her son, Todd (Jackie) Clifford; her daughter, Kym (Victor) Pettavino; her grandchildren, Jade and Victor; her great‑grandson, Rome; and her brother, Jim Otto.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
