Amber Kristy Stubbe, 45, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2026.
Amber was born on July 23, 1980, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the daughter of Daniel Mayberry and Deborah Stubbe. She attended Tremper High School and later earned an associate’s degree in business management from the University of Phoenix.
Amber was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Her greatest joys were her family, her faith in God, and her beloved cat, Binx. Her faith was an important part of her life and a source of strength.
Amber is survived by her children, Brenda (Leonel) Nuñez, Isabel Casillas, and Aiden Casillas; her grandchildren, Elias, Jasiah, and Leo Nuñez; her mother, Deborah Stubbe, Father Daniel Mayberry. Her sisters, Melissa Stubbe, Taylor (Carlos) Marin, Tessa Santiago, Rebecca Maybery, and Sarah (George)Arroyo, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, and loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Linda Stubbe and Pamela Hart; her grandfather, Efraim Santiago; her uncle, Guy Stubbe; and her close friend, Roxie Garcia.
Amber will be remembered for her sweet smile, beautiful green eyes, curly hair, and kind, accepting heart. She was deeply loved and will forever remain in the hearts of her family.
A memorial service will be held at Journey Church (10700 75th St., Kenosha, WI 53142) on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM.
