With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Theresa “Terri” M. Foy, who left us on February 3, 2026, at the age of 69. Born on November 7, 1956, in Chicago, IL, Theresa was a beacon of love and warmth in the lives of her family and friends. The daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (Reinholtz) Foy.
Theresa dedicated her life to her family, cherishing every moment spent together. She had an extraordinary bond with her sisters, Patricia (Michael) Reibel and Kathleen (Raymond) Tiedje, as well as her brother John Foy. Her nurturing spirit extended to her role as a beloved aunt and great-aunt, where she held a special place in the hearts of Meghan (Jim) Kevil, Mark (Ger) Reibel, Matthew (Jessie Oshinski) Reibel, Colleen (Andrew) Hagen, Cathleen (Bob) Ilich, Elizabeth (Kevin Tackett) Tiedje, Steven Tiedje, Jorie Foy, and her five great nieces and nephews. The joy she found in her family will forever echo in their memories.
Known for her profound love for all animals, especially dogs, Theresa often shared her heart with those furry friends who reciprocated her affection tenfold.
Theresa was preceded in death by her cherished parents, Joseph and Catherine (Reinholtz) Foy, her sister Noreen Foy, and her beloved long-time companion Leonard “Mac” McLeish. Their spirits live on in the memories shared by those who knew and loved them.
As we remember Theresa, we celebrate a life filled with laughter, love, and an unwavering commitment to family. Her kind heart and gentle soul will be missed dearly, leaving a legacy of love and compassion that will continue to inspire those lucky enough to have known her.
