December 29, 1949 – February 4, 2026
Kenneth A. Sokal, 77 years old of Kenosha, WI, passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at his home.
He was born December 29, 1948, in Kenosha, WI, the son of the late Andrew and Regina (Falcioni) Sokal. Ken attended local schools, graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School, and went on to attend Kenosha Technical Institute, where he studied horticulture. He also proudly served in the U.S. Army.
Ken was passionate about music, specifically classic rock; he loved talking about musicians any chance he got. He worked for many years at G. LeBlanc, Kenosha, WI. During his time here, he worked to beautify the gardens on the grounds of the instrument manufacturer. Among the flowers in the facility were hybrid roses and other beautiful species. His professionalism and knowledge of horticulture allowed him to succeed and become one of the few professionals who took care of the flower garden.
Survivors include his sister, Patricia (Loren) Keating of Kenosha, WI; nephew Christopher Keating and niece, Lauren (Ryan Irvine) Keating; a sister-in-law, JoAnn Sokal; and cousins, Robert Postorino and Dennis (Barb) Bianchi.
In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Sokal.
Memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m.– 5:00 p.m. on Monday, February 16, 2026, at Proko Funeral Home. Services with military honors will take place at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
