September 12, 1966 – January 14, 2026
Autumn H. Knapp, 59, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2026, at Froedtert South Pleasant Prairie Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family.
Autumn was born on September 12, 1966, in Waukegan, Illinois, the daughter of the late Ivan and Ellen (Riley) Burke. She was raised and educated in Waukegan and Kenosha, communities that remained close to her heart throughout her life.
On June 30, 1998, Autumn married the love of her life, Raymond Knapp, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Together they built a life filled with laughter, loyalty, and love. Autumn worked for many years as a manager at Shenanigans, where she was known for her strong work ethic, warm personality, and the genuine care she showed to everyone she met. Autumn had a passion for shooting pool, playing darts, and cooking for the people she loved. Autumn proudly cheered on her Wisconsin teams, but none came close to the Green Bay Packers. Above all else, Autumn treasured time spent with her family and friends. Her greatest joy came from being with her husband, children, and grandchildren, creating memories filled with love, humor, and comfort that will be cherished forever.
She is survived by her loving husband, Raymond Knapp of Kenosha; her children, Amber Sutherland, Jesse (Heather L.) Gilbert, Amanda Behme, and Heather M. Gilbert, all of Kenosha; her eleven grandchildren, along with her great-grandson and two more in the coming months, as well as her brother Kevin Burke of Waukesha and his children. She is also lovingly remembered by her devoted golden retriever, Bailey, often joked to be her “favorite child,” who was never far from her side. Autumn was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Mickey.
A memorial gathering will be held at Kenosha Funeral Services on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., with memorial services immediately following at 6:00 p.m.
