John William Hawley, 68, of Kenosha, WI, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital, just shy of his 69th Birthday.
Born on January 29, 1957, in Elmira, NY, he was the son of the late Ralph and Susan (Ray) Hawley.
On November 11, 1995, he married Leann Parmentier in Kenosha, WI. She preceded him in death on September 1, 2019.
John was employed as a business representative for LiUna Local No. 113 until his retirement in 2024.
He enjoyed watching sports, running a Fantasy Football league, cooking, barbequing, traveling, bird watching, and gardening, especially roses. He was a huge Bucks, Brewers, and Packers fan. He was an extremely hard worker and had so many friends.
John is survived by his two sons, Nathan Hawley and Wyatt Hawley both of Kenosha, WI; three sisters, Kathleen (Tracy) Cornell of NY, Karen Spencer of NY, and Jessica (Steven) Nero of MD; parents-in-law, John and Cara Parmentier; brother-in-law, John (Deborah) Parmentier; sister-in-law, Jillaine (Gilbert) Kelley; and 21 nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held at Proko Funeral Home on Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Interment will be private. Instead of flowers, memorials to his sons would be appreciated.
