Lois J. Turcotte, 76, of Kenosha, WI, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Aurora Medical Center.
Born on June 8, 1949, in Duluth, MN, she was the daughter of the late Richard Lincoln and Arline Louise (Cretier) Gratiot. Moving to Kenosha, WI, as a child, she attended local schools, graduating from Tremper High School in 1967.
On June 11, 1983, she married Michael Turcotte. He preceded her in death on February 11, 2018.
Lois was employed as a duplicating processor for over 25 years by Abbott Labs until her retirement.
She loved watching NHRA racing, crocheting, watching and building fireworks, and spending time with her family, especially her grandson. She was a member of Pyrotechnics Guild International.
Lois is survived by her loving daughter, Arline (Branden) Fischer of Kenosha, WI, and her grandson, Kyler Turcotte.
She was also preceded in death by her sister Violet “Vi” Gratiot; brother, Neil “Peanuts” Gratiot; niece and nephews, Cindy Marescalco, Gary George, and Greg George.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Proko Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
