March 22, 1955 – December 28, 2025
Paul M. Becker, 70, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, December 28th, 2025, at Froedtert South St. Catherine’s Hospital.
He was born on March 22, 1955, to the late Helmuth and Marjory (Fischer) Becker in Kenosha. He attended schools in Kenosha, graduating from Tremper High School, where he met his high school sweetheart, Suzanne Podella. On September 10, 1977, they were married at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Paul received a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from UW-Parkside. He spent his career as a Systems Analyst, first at Outboard Marine and then at Abbott Labs, for many years before retiring in 2017.
First and foremost, Paul enjoyed spending time with his family. He was an involved father, coaching and following youth sports and activities. He also traveled on many family vacations to Disney World. Paul was an avid Brewers and Packers fan, not one to miss a game. He also enjoyed golfing, bowling, listening to the Beatles, and tinkering with computers. But Paul’s greatest joy, no doubt, was his grandchildren. He was always looking forward to their next visit.
Paul is survived by his wife, Suzanne, his children Michael (Lauren) Becker and Amanda (Ryan) Dreifke, his grandchildren Carson Becker, Luella Becker, Ronan Becker, Benny Dreifke, Maeve Becker, and Julia Dreifke, his siblings Mary Rutchik, Patricia (Paul) Herzfeld, Bernadette (Phil) Gagliardi, Tim (Tammy) Becker, Jane (Tony Molinaro) Kasianowicz, his mother-in-law Marilyn Podella, and a brother-in-law Scott (Debbie) Podella, along with many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his father-in-law Fred Podella, a brother-in-law James Rutchik, and a nephew Joseph Rutchik.
Private funeral services will be held.
