November 2, 1981 – December 18, 2025
Michael A. Dugan, 44 years old of Kenosha, WI, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025.
Born on November 2, 1981, he was the son of George and Susan (Hackamack) Dugan. Michael resided in Kenosha, Wisconsin, for most of his life. He attended St. Mark’s School and graduated from Indian Trail Academy. He received his degree from St. Louis Community College in photography. He went on to win awards and scholarships for his work.
During his childhood, Michael was very involved in Boy Scouts and eventually became an Eagle Scout. He worked at Lyle Boy Scout Camp during the summer and was also inducted into the Order of the Arrow. He enjoyed giving back to the community.
He eventually moved to Chicago, Illinois, and became a Bears fan. He worked for Plants Inc. and enjoyed working with plants so much that he became his own independent contractor when he moved back to Kenosha. He had a great green thumb and could bring any plant back to life.
Michael liked Star Wars, books (one of his first was Mike Mulligan and the Steam Shovel), photography, drawing, painting, deep conversations, and listening to jazz music.
He is survived by his parents, Susan and George Dugan; sister, Sarah; brother-in-law, Kevin; niece, Annabel; nephew, Landen; and many beloved uncles, aunts, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his four grandparents.
A memorial visitation will be held at Proko Funeral Home on Sunday, December 28, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Shalom Center of Kenosha, NPR network or local station, or PBS Wisconsin would be appreciated.
