Richard Adamowicz, 75, of Kenosha, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Froedtert South–St. Catherine, surrounded by his loving family.
Richard was born on April 2, 1950, in Kenosha, the son of the late Casimir and Jean (Yule) Adamowicz. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha, graduating from Bradford H.S. He went on to earn an Associate’s Degree in Accounting from Gateway Technical College, a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UW-Whitewater, and a Master of Business Administration from UW-Parkside. He married Susan Marie Ciesielski on May 18, 1974, in Kenosha. Richard was employed for 27 years in accounting at J.I. Case and later worked as the CFO for his eldest daughter’s company, Alliance National Insurance Agency. He also spent many years working seasonally as a tax preparer for H&R Block. His hobbies included golfing, fishing, hunting, cheering for the Green Bay Packers, and traveling throughout the U.S. and Europe with his wife, Susan, and other dear friends. Rick treasured the times that he spent with his family and groups of long-time friends. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Adamowicz; children, Heather (Kelly) Crowley, Lisa Adamowicz Kless; brother, Randy (Judy) Adamowicz; grandchildren, Cassandra Hill, Tristen (Caitlin) Crowley, Catherine Crowley; and two great-grandchildren, Eli Crowley and Caleb Crowley.
A celebration of Richard’s life will be held at a later date.
