Shirley Mae Yszenga, 91, of Kenosha, WI, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Brookside Care Center, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Park Falls, WI, on May 10, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Ira and Ruth (Jacobsen) Isham.
On November 7, 1953, she married Clarence Yszenga in Kenosha, WI. He preceded her in death on April 4, 1991.
Shirely was employed by St. Catherine’s Hospital and later Aurora Hospital in the admissions department until her retirement in 2013.
She enjoyed reading the bible, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, playing the slots, and taking trips up north in the summer with her entire family. She loved the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Cubs.
She will be forever remembered for her warm smile that could light up any room, her ability to make friends wherever she went, and her kind spirit.
Shirley is survived by her 5 children Kim (Deborah) Yszenga, Denise Ambrosini, Patricia (Mark) Presterl, James (Mary) Yszenga, and Mark (Ada) Yszenga; 9 grandchildren, Alyse (Cody), Tony (Gina), Aaron (Lindsay), Grant (Morgan), Abby (Andy), Molly (Joao), Ryne (Avery) Kelsi (Bart), and Evan (Cashie); 15 great-grandchildren, Mason, Lincoln, Kinslee, Dominic, Vinny, Ava, Lucy, Laney, Tucker, Arie, Asher, Kayla, Logan, Rollins, and Jace; and her sister, Carol Oettel. She is further survived by many other special family members and friends.
She was also preceded in death by four siblings, Donald Isham, Arlene Halvorsen, Edward Isham, and Robert Isham; two grandsons, Alex and Zachary; and son-in-law, Sam Ambrosini.
