Susan Burns Smith, age 73, of Kenosha, passed away on December 14th, 2025. She was born on August 17th, 1952, in Rosenberg, Texas. Susan earned a B.S. in Business Technology from the University of Houston in 1992. In 1990, Susan married the love of her life, Artell Smith, while they were both working at ExxonMobil. The two would later raise two sons together. Susan and her family have lived in many parts of the country, including Texas, Ohio, New Hampshire, Illinois, Florida, and Wisconsin.
Susan is survived by her loving husband, Artell Smith, and sons: Troy Smith and Preston Smith. She is preceded in death by her parents.
As per the family’s wishes, services will be held privately.
