Born in The Bronx, NY, on February 25, 1965, he was the son of Frank and Elizabeth (Cataldi) Rizzi. He earned his associate’s degree from Nassau Community College. He then went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, FL.
Michael was employed by CarMax for almost 30 years. He was currently the Retail Technician Manager at Schaumburg CarMax. He began his career as a manager in Orlando, FL, and later moved to Kenosha, WI, after meeting the love of his life, Wendy Willems.
On June 11, 2009, he married Wendy Willems in Hilton Head, SC.
Michael was a member of Toastmasters International, the NRA, and the WI Sportsman Association. He enjoyed both gun and bow hunting, fishing, camping, boating, assembling guns, attending auctions, riding on his ATV, operating his diesel tractor, and spending time with his family and friends. He was able to take a trip of a lifetime to Italy with his parents and his wife, where he was able to see the place where his mother was born. He also cherished trips up north in Finley, WI.
He loved the Beatles, Ozzy Osbourne, and his 1998 C5 Red Corvette. He was a NY Giants fan, and a Green Bay Packers fan by marriage. He had a love for coffee that was truly unmatched. His famous line was “No coffee, no workee”. He will be fondly remembered for his lively storytelling, funny jokes, willingness to help others, and lack of knowing lyrics to really any song.
