Visit Pleasant Prairie is sprinkling a little extra magic into the 2025 holiday season by now being home to an official North Pole Mailbox as part of the brand-new Postcards to Santa initiative. As the only organization in the Kenosha County area offering this unique experience, families can now send a heartfelt postcard straight to Santa—and receive a customized reply!
As of December 1st, visitors are encouraged to stop by the Visit Pleasant Prairie Welcome Center (4721 75th St.) to pick up a North Pole–approved, official postcard. Once it’s filled with festive wishes and thoughtful messages (and a legible return address!), visitors can drop their postcard into the cheerful red mailbox located inside the Welcome Center lobby. No stamp is needed, as this experience is complimentary! Official postcards will be accepted through Christmas Eve, and every postcard will receive a personalized response from Santa!
NOTE: Postcards received after Saturday, December 20th, may receive delayed responses with post-holiday messaging and New Year wishes.
Official postcards are available at the Welcome Center to pick up or fill out onsite during regular business hours, Monday–Saturday, 9 a.m.–4 p.m., but the magic doesn’t stop when the doors close. A secure mail slot at the main entrance allows for postcard drop-offs at any time of day.
Friendly reminder that submissions for the Pleasant Prairie Holiday Lights Tour are open through December 10. The final Tour Map is shared on December 12. More details can be found at VisitPleasantPrairie.com/holiday-lights-tour.
