March 20, 2018 – November 28, 2025
Alena Ellen Kannin, 7 years old of Kenosha, WI, passed away Friday, November 28, 2025.
She was born March 20, 2018, in Kenosha, WI, the daughter of Joshua Kannin and Jourdan Feasby. Alena was a 2nd grade student at Curtis Strange Elementary School, Kenosha, WI.
Adoringly called “Laney-Bug”, Alena was a lover of all things pink and gave the greatest cuddles. She loved acting like a cat, Hello Kitty, and giving flowers. She had the personality of a girly-girl and a tomboy, all wrapped up in one. You could find her skateboarding in heels and playing side-by-side with her brothers. Her dream was to become a “veterinarian doctor princess unicorn” and she liked watching K-pop Demon Hunters. She was also the greatest giver of “half a heart” to everyone, to make a “full one”. Alena will be remembered for her spark, joyous demeanor, her sweet smile, and her big heart.
Survivors include her parents, Jourdan Feasby and Joshua Kannin; maternal grandparents, Howard (Tricia) Birchard and Eric (Jami) Feasby; paternal grandmother, Susan Medina; aunts and uncles, Jamie (Travis) Labadie, Camiren Birchard, and Ashley Kannin; cousins, Landon and Lily Labadie, Nala and Naqaya Kannin; great-grandmother, Virginia Thompson; and maternal great-grandparents, Denny (Sally) Feasby; as well as many other extended family members who loved her.
Alena was preceded in death by her brothers, Rylee and Connor; her maternal great-grandfather, Terry Thompson; maternal great-grandparents, John and Glenna Feasby; and paternal great-grandparents, Eugene and Jean Kannin.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Great Lakes Church, 7600 75th St., Ste. 320, Kenosha, WI. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Great Lakes Church, and interment will follow in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park, Somers, WI.
