Bridey Ann (Whiteside) Fastabend, 60, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Friday, November 21, 2025, at her residence.
She was born on February 11, 1965, to the late Mark and Helen (Benuska) Whiteside in Kenosha.
A proud mother of six, Bridey is survived by her children Airlea (Lichtwalt) Tidwell, Rachel (Jason) Brennan, Aaron Lichtwalt, Daniel Whiteside, Eva Fastabend, and Teresa Fastabend. She also leaves behind seven adored grandchildren: Anthony, Taylor, Zoe, Eli, Alena, Owen, and Luminara, each of whom brought tremendous joy to her life.
Bridey dedicated her life to her home and family. As a homemaker, she created a warm and nurturing place filled with support, imagination, and unconditional love. Her greatest happiness came from spending time with her grandchildren and cheering them on at their countless events. She was their loudest supporter, their biggest fan, and their favorite storyteller.
Known for her wild sense of humor, Bridey had a talent for bringing smiles to even the most ordinary days. Her playful personality, quick wit, and unforgettable jokes will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know her. She will be remembered as a devoted mother, beloved grandmother, and a woman who brought laughter wherever she went. Her laughter, love, and light will remain forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Bridey will be held on Wednesday, December 3rd at 12:30 p.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church (2223 – 51st Street). Interment will follow at St. George Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of Mass. Rosary at 12:00 p.m. (Noon).
