February 24, 1939 – November 14, 2025
If you knew Stanley (“Stan”) Timm, you knew he loved a good joke (especially the nonsensical ones), a good prank, a good book, and a good cup of coffee—always black. Born on February 24, 1939, Stan passed away on Friday, November 14th, 2025, leaving behind a lifetime of humor, curiosity, and offbeat charm.
Stan spent years performing magic shows, not because he believed he was the next great Houdini—he’d laugh at the thought—but because he genuinely loved it. Even when a trick didn’t land, his joy did. Watching him have fun was half the show.
As a lifelong learner, books were his home, and he read about everything from Coca-Cola’s history to the lives of 19th-century circus “freak show” performers; people he related to, always feeling a bit left of center himself.
Stan embraced his quirks, laughed loudly (sometimes at the least appropriate moments), and carried a smile that could warm a room without ever seeking the spotlight. An introvert with a welcoming spirit, he made people feel at ease just by being himself.
Come join us in celebrating the magic of Stan’s life during the memorial service. The service may be viewed via livestream on the following link facebook.com/PiaseckiFuneralHome/live/. A Facebook account is not necessary to watch.
