It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles “Chuck” E. Kisonis on Monday, October 27, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on June 1, 1949, to the late Tony and Betty (Switzer) Kisonis. Chuck was a graduate of Warren Township High School.
Chuck proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force.
Chuck was employed with the Waukegan Park District until his retirement.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time Up North on his property with his family.
He will be deeply missed by his children, Cynthia (Michael) Flores, Anthony (Michelle) Kisonis; grandchildren, Dominic, Savannah, and Jayden Flores, Anthony, Sheyenne, Evan, and Ava Kisonis; sister, Grace Billick; nephew, Steven Billick; very dearest cousin, Helen Fuller, and Yueth Kisonis, mother of his children.
In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bonnie Kisonis; his grandson, Jonathan Kisonis; his cousin, Bill Fuller; and brother-in-law, Eugene Billick.
Private inurnment will be held in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
