William Ausen, 82, of Kenosha, passed away on October 16, 2025.
William was born on November 24, 1942, in Kenosha, the son of the late Grant Ausen and Margaret Pfeiffer. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha and Racine. He graduated from Gateway College with a degree. William worked for CASE Manufacturing company for many years, and later he was a car salesman for D&B Auto Sales. His hobbies included taking long drives, chewing on cigars, horse race betting, and cheering for the Minnesota Vikings. He was a collector of all vintage lamps and knick-knacks. He loved cars as a big passion, but most of all, he loved spending time with family and friends, especially with his buddy, Mark.
Survivors include his children, Tom (Megan) Gianakos and Christina Ausen of Kenosha as included are many other family members and friends. William was preceded in death by his parents and his daughters, Allison Halmi and Michelle Ausen.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
