August 12, 1951 – September 29, 2025
In Loving Memory of Vicki Wind. Vicki Wind was born on August 12, 1951, in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, and passed away peacefully on September 29, 2025, after a courageous battle with colon cancer. She grew up in Madison, later moved to Richland Center, and eventually settled in Kenosha, where she built a life filled with love, laughter, and family.
Vicki had a gentle spirit and a heart full of warmth. She loved spending time with her husband, Richard – whether they were planting flowers together or playing euchre with friends. She found joy in life’s simple moments and cherished every laugh and memory shared with those she loved most.
Vicki is survived by her devoted husband, Richard Wind; her sister, Kersti; her children, Helmi, Hilary, and Erik; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren, who were her greatest joy. Her love for her family was endless, and she leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and laughter that will live on in each of them.
A Celebration of Vicki’s life will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Draft House in Janesville, Wisconsin (101 E Milwaukee St. Ste 101). Family and friends are invited to join in honoring a beautiful life well well-loved and a woman who was deeply loved.
She will be missed beyond words.
