June “Calamari” Steward, age 71, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 17, 2025, after a tough battle with Cancer. She left a legacy of kindness, laughter, and unwavering devotion to her loved ones. Born with a vibrant spirit and a heart full of generosity, June touched the lives of all who knew her warmth and genuine care.
Those who knew June will remember her sense of humor, her welcoming smile, and her ability to make any gathering brighter. June’s zest for life took her to Marco Island, FL, when she was 18. She embraced new experiences, cherished her family, and made every moment count.
June was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, and friend, always ready with a listening ear, sage advice, or a helping hand. She leaves behind one son, Patrick; five grandchildren, Gram, Colbie Rose, Hayden, Roma,n and Kinzley; three brothers, John (Kristie), Paul (Andrea), and Art Calamari; and many nieces, nephew,s and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Rose Calamari, and a son, Reid Steward.
June “Calamari” will be remembered for her unique spirit, her love for life, and the countless memories she created with those close to her. Her laughter, wisdom, and caring nature will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Rest in peace, June “Bug”. You will be dearly missed and forever cherished.
