Kenosha is poised to celebrate creativity and community with “Accessible Art for All,” a one-day art fair and fundraiser taking place at the Anderson Arts Center. This initiative endeavors to broaden participation in the arts, making them more accessible for all Kenoshans, regardless of age, ability, or background.
A diverse range of activities awaits attendees, highlighted by a 2 PM talk from guest speaker Phil Gayter, who will explore “What Life Can Learn from Art.” The day will also feature a mini art fair spotlighting local artists and makers, with items available for purchase. Community arts organizations and service providers will also be onhand, sharing valuable resources and opportunities. Further enriching the experience, the Anderson Arts Center’s gallery and gift shop will be open for exploration. To complement the artistic atmosphere, light cocktails, bloodies, and mimosas will be available at the bar.
Mark your calendars for “Accessible Art for All” on Sunday, September 28, from 1–4 PM at the Anderson Arts Center, situated at 6603 3rd Ave. Admission is free, and all proceeds generated from this occasion will directly bolster accessible arts programming at the Anderson Arts Center.
