Ruth Callan, 75, of Kenosha, passed away on August 13, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Ruth was born on March 17, 1950, in Kenosha, the daughter of the late Thomas and LaVona (Hicks) Mink. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Ruth married Robert Callan on December 4, 1971, in Kenosha. She was an educational assistant for the Kenosha Unified School District for many years. Ruth was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. Her hobbies included cross-stitching, being a band mom, but most of all, she loved spending time with her friends and family, especially with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Michelle (Eric) Corbett of Kenosha, Noelle (Daniel) MacLeay of CO; sisters, Linda (Ken) Slater, Virginia Roders of Kenosha; also included are her grandchildren, Ezekiel, Eliza, Isaiah, Athena, and Elliana. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings John, David, and Kenneth.
A visitation will be held at Kenosha Funeral Services on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 9:00 AM-11:00 AM, with funeral services to follow immediately at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park immediately following the service.
