Betty A. Scheider, 87, of Bristol WI., passed away on June 18th, 2025 at her home, surrounded by her loved ones. Betty was born on October 1st, 1937, in Petaluma, CA., to her parents, Theodore, and Fredrica (Lendorfer) Moore.
She met her husband of 69 years Edmund Schneider Jr. in 1956, while attending a USO dance, when Edmund was in the Airforce. Four months later they were married. In 1960 they moved to Paddock Lake, WI, where she became a member and Sunday school teacher at Community Baptist Church in Silver Lake, WI. She graduated from the University of Whitewater, and became a school teacher at Wheatland grade school for 32 years, for the first and fifth grades. Betty then moved on to the Salem grade school for a few years before her retirement. Her and Edmund moved to Prosperity South Carolina, where she then became a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Betty took up being a Sunday school teacher as well as many other things at Bethel Baptist. She and Edmund would go on mission trips to many countries; Jordan, Iraq, Jerusalem, Kenya, Israel to help with disaster relief. They moved back to Bristol WI, to be with their family. Betty had many passions like sewing, oil painting, and photography. She also taught Vacation Bible school in the summers. Her life was service to the Lord.
Betty is survived by her 3 children; Vickie (Ted) Wember, Debi Schneider, and Eddy (Tammy) Schneider. Her sister Brenda Moore. Her grandchildren, Heather, Peter Jr., Dale, Josh, Steven, Mike, Stephanie, Joey and Mitchell. Her great-grandchildren, Desaree, Johnny Jr., Isaiah, Seth, Anayah, Stephen, Grace, Zelda, Josephine, Azlynn, Adeline, Matthew, Elania, Scarlett. Betty is further survived by her great-great grandchildren, Thiago, Cristiano, and Johnny III
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Edmund Schneider Jr.
