Bernard Wright, 70, of Kenosha, WI, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Waters Edge Health & Rehabilitation.
Born on January 13, 1955, in Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late Dewitt and Jesse Mae (Robinson) Wright. He attended local schools. He moved to Kenosha
Bernard was employed as grounds keeper.
He enjoyed playing the drums, outreach ministry, and spending time with his family and friends.
Bernard is survived by his five sisters, Pastor Patricia Cooper, Pearline Wright, Abilene Mosley, Kathy Wright, and Carolyn Vicks. He is further survived by a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his four brothers, Roger Wright, Dewitt Wright, Phillip Wright, and Victor Wright; and six sisters, Edna Wright, Betty Wright, Edna Wright, Gwendolyn Wright, Sheila Wright, and Abilene Wright in infancy.
A visitation will be held at Proko Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m.
