Elaine LaPoint, 62, of Kenosha passed away on May 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Elaine was born on May 23, 1962, in Waukegan, IL, the daughter of the late Ealton and Judy (Kelley) Tate. She was educated in the schools of Zion, IL. Elaine married Patrick LaPoint on June 6, 1987, in Winthrop Harbor, IL. She was self-employed for janitorial services, an amazing bartender at GRC, worked at Kwik Trip, and many other things. Her hobbies included taking vacations, going on casino trips, pool parties, bowling, cooking, cheering for the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers and the Wisconsin Badgers but most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family.
Existing loved ones include: her children Robert Otterson Jr. of Kenosha and Kari LaPoint of Kenosha; Brothers, Stacey Tate of TN and David Tate of TN; Sisters, Cindy (Shawn) Lambert of TN and Ashley (Dan) Jackson of Winthrop Harbor, IL; her 3 grandchildren: Nicholas Suidikas, Lilli Otterson, and Robby Otterson; as well as many more loving family members. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents; husband and her brother, Tony.
