Natasha Marie Rutchik, age 38 a resident of Kenosha, died peacefully at her residence on Sunday May 4th, 2025.
She was born on November 9th, 1986, in Kenosha.
She was educated in local schools, having attended Frank Elementary, Washington Middle, and graduated from Indian Trail High School with honors. She graduated from UW Lacrosse with a BS in Psychology. She interned with Children’s Oncology Services in Chicago and with Samantha Bay Wilson in St. Augustine FL.
Tasha also loved her time waitressing at George Webb and was adored by many. Most recently she was employed at her family business, JR Properties, as the office manager, and was the successful owner of Auntie Tashie’s Dog Sitting. She loved all animals, especially wiener dogs.
She was an active volunteer with many organizations including Kenosha Trash Trotters, Kenosha Welcome Center and Women in Motion.
She was honored to be a speaker at the Relay for Life in Kenosha in 2022.
Music was an important part of her life and she loved volunteering at the Pennoyer Park Bandshell. She loved downtown Kenosha and was often seen frequenting the local coffee shops. Some people lovingly called her the “mayor of downtown”.
She was an avid photographer who loved to take pictures of local scenery. She greatly enjoyed watching birds and reading books that she discussed with friends and family.
She had a passion for travel and cherished the fond memories of her trips to Spain visiting her dear friend Bob Abell.
Her Christian faith became a cornerstone in her life and guided her with compassion and hope through every season.
She is survived by her adoptive parents John and Shelley (Nudi) Rogowski, her brother Tyler Rogowski, her birth father Thomas Rutchik, Grandma Darles Rogowski, Aunt Pat (Drew) Berben, Aunt Mary (Tab) Canestorp Aunt Cheryl (Jim) McPhaul, Aunt Kathy (Dave) Meyer, as well as many other aunts, uncles and cousins. Tasha was loved and will be missed by many.
She was preceded in death by her birth mother Debra (Maegaard) Rutchik, Nana Kay Bennett, Grandpa Ralph Nudi, Grandpa John Rogowski, Grandma Marlene Nudi, Uncle Brent Nudi, Aunt Barb Hosier, and her beloved wiener dog Peaches.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Tuesday May 13th, 2025, at 5:00PM at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Kenosha. (5601-Washington Road, on the corner of HWY 142 and Green Bay Road) Visitation with the family will take place on Tuesday at the church from 3:00PM until the time of service. A private burial will take place the next morning, Wednesday May 14th, 2025, at St. George Catholic Cemetery.
