Kenosha.com’s Pet of the Week: Smokey

A sweet 2-year-old pup looking for his forever home!

By Wisconsin Humane Society Campus

Founded in 1879, the Wisconsin Humane Society has been saving the lives of animals in need for more than 140 years. WHS is an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and operates animal shelters in Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Kenosha, Door, and Brown Counties, as well as a spay/neuter clinic in West Allis.

Smokey is an adorable 2-year-old pup ready to meet his new family and available for adoption at the Wisconsin Humane Society Kenosha Campus. This quiet boy weighs 56 pounds, and his permanent sad-looking expression will melt your heart. He’ll win you over in no time with his pleading eyes and his sweet disposition. Like all dogs at WHS, Smokey has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped – so he’s all set for his new home! If you’re interested in adopting Smokey, stop by the WHS Kenosha Campus during adoption hours or visit www.wihumane.org/adopt to learn more.
