Thanks to Jim Matzur, former owner of The Boathouse, Fin and Ale (4120 7th Ave.) was created because Jim “isn’t sure what he wants to do when he grows up”. Kenosha has to be grateful for that.

Matzur purchased the building 18 months ago and transformed it into an amazing new place to visit for lunch, dinner, tap beers, and cocktails. The original bar still exists and with new floors, ceiling, bathrooms (at the ladies request), old and new decor. It’s a must visit.

As a seven year Kenosha fishing charter captain and over twenty years of serving fantastic fish fries, Matzur of course makes that a staple of Fin and Ale along with a varied menu for everyone. Open 7 days a week from 11 a.m. until “bedtime”, and locally owned and operated.
