Lynn Marie Koziol, age 66, of Twin Lakes, WI, passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022, with her daughter at her side, following a long and valiant battle with cancer. Lynn’s optimism and positive outlook afforded her several years beyond her initial prognosis—and she spent that time enjoying life to the fullest with her loved ones.
Daughter of Wayne DeMeuse and the late Joan O’Donell, Lynn was born on September 9, 1955, in Green Bay, WI. In her free time, Lynn enjoyed gardening and feeding wildlife, gambling (especially on slot machines), traveling and camping, and relaxing on her deck taking in the view of her lovingly maintained flowers. Lynn loved nature and the outdoors. She was an excellent cook, famous for several dishes including her stuffed shells. She also enjoyed barbecuing and gatherings of friends and family. Lynn was very social and a great listener. She was strong-willed, patient, kind, and an exceptionally happy, positive person. Lynn wanted everyone to know that she lived her best life, lived it to the fullest, and had no regrets.
Lynn is survived by her father, Wayne DeMeuse; daughter, Julie LaMeer-Blood; grandchildren, Reena Carnevale, Tanner Asplund, Jaden LaMeer-Moorefield, and Tristan LaMeer-Blood; great-grandchild, Carson Faulhaber; sisters, Barbara DeMeuse and Sue (Dave) Olson; brother, Roy DeMeuse; and significant other, Bill Lumpp. In death, she is reunited with her mother, Joan DeMeuse; son, Ronnie LaMeer; grandson, Joshuah LaMeer; brother, Michael “Bubba” DeMeuse; and sister, Karen Archibald.
