Daniel John Mika, age 78, of Kenosha passed away on Friday April 23 2021 at his home with his loved ones near. Danny was born on January 25 1943 in Chicago IL to Joseph J Mika and Eleanor (Samson) Mika. He graduated from Drummond High School Drummond WI growing up in the Ashland WI area before moving to Kenosha.
He retired from the city of Kenosha Waste Department after many years, probably where his love of scrapping metals came from. He also enjoyed fishing, four wheeling, traveling in his motorhome and working in his yard.
He married Evelyn Pike in 1965. They had two sons Randall James Mika and Milo Joseph Mika. They later divorced . In 1986 he married Cindy Aikins. She preceded him in death in 2013. They had one son Daniel Mika.
Dan is survived by his sons Randy (Melissa Hanson) Mika and Daniel A Mika, 8 grandchildren &
11 great grandchildren, His brother Joseph (Eileen) Mika ; his sisters Kathleen Rossett, Carol (James) Wicks and Theresa (Darrell) Quirk, his best friend Forest Heinz as well as many other family and friends
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers John and Michael Mika , 2 children at birth and his son Milo Mika.
He has been in the care of the Bruch Funeral Home and a memorial service will be held on June 27 th from 1 pm to 5pm at 4316-55 ave Kenosha WI
