Alternate Side City of Kenosha Parking ends March 31st

City of Kenosha alternate side parking regulations ends March 31, 2026, until they resume on December 1, 2026.

Alternate side parking in the City of Kenosha ends Tuesday, March 31, 2026.

Per city ordinance, alternate side parking regulations are in effect each year from Dec. 1 to March 31.

“Alternate side parking helps facilitate plow operators’ ability to clear pavement from curb to curb,” Public Works Director Brian Cater said.

Cater added: “Many city streets are narrow, and when vehicles park across from each other, it makes it difficult or impossible for snow plows, which range from 10 to 12 feet
wide, to fit through. If a plow cannot get through, large emergency service vehicles may also not be able to. With alternate side parking, it allows us the opportunity to more effectively clear roadways.”
