The 2025 pool season will officially conclude Sunday, Aug. 17, after a summer that brought more than 15,000 visitors to the City of Kenosha’s two public pool facilities: Washington Park Pool, 1821 Washington Road, and Anderson Park Pool, 8730 22nd Ave.
“Thanks for making it a great season — we’ll see you next year after off-season maintenance,” said Parks Director Katie Elder.
The pools opened for the season on June 17 and provided residents and visitors with a variety of family-friendly amenities.
Washington Park Pool features a zero-depth entry pool with interactive water features, a 200-foot water slide, a drop slide, a diving board, deck chairs, and umbrella tables.
Anderson Park Pool offers a large main pool, a tot pool with a small children’s slide, two full-size water slides, a diving board, a splash pad, lockers, deck chairs, and umbrella tables.
Many of the certified lifeguards were local high school and college students. The city is deeply appreciative of all their hard work and dedication during this bustling season. They allowed both pools to be open simultaneously.
