Kenosha.com’s Pet of the Week: Jackson

A happy 1 1/2-year-old pup looking for an adventure buddy!

By Wisconsin Humane Society Campus

Founded in 1879, the Wisconsin Humane Society has been saving the lives of animals in need for more than 140 years. WHS is an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and operates animal shelters in Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Kenosha, Door, and Brown Counties, as well as a spay/neuter clinic in West Allis.

Meet Jackson – a happy and adorable 1 ½-year-old pup ready for his next loving home and available for adoption at the Wisconsin Humane Society Kenosha Campus. This sweet boy weighs 70 pounds, and he enjoys spending time outdoors, going for walks, or having long play sessions. Although Jackson can by shy upon first meeting, but once he’s comfortable he can’t get enough pets and attention. Like all dogs at WHS, he’s been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped – plus, his adoption fee is just $75 and includes a certificate for a free vet exam, a starter bag of food, and 30 days of pet insurance. If you’d like to meet Jackson and see if he’s a great match for you, stop by the WHS Kenosha Campus during adoption hours or visit www.wihumane.org/adopt to learn more.
