Kenosha.com’s Pet of the Week: Edna

An adorable 7-year-old pup looking for a loving home!

By Wisconsin Humane Society Campus

Founded in 1879, the Wisconsin Humane Society has been saving the lives of animals in need for more than 140 years. WHS is an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and operates animal shelters in Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Kenosha, Door, and Brown Counties, as well as a spay/neuter clinic in West Allis.

Meet Edna – a wonderful 7-year-old pup ready to make her way into your heart and home. This sweet gal weighs 54 pounds and is available for adoption at the Wisconsin Humane Society Kenosha Campus. Edna is a lovely senior girl with a beautiful brindle coat and soulful brown eyes. Like all dogs at WHS, she’s been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped so she’s all set for her new family. Plus, right now, adoption fees for all dogs 6 months and older are just $75! It’s the perfect time to stop by the WHS Kenosha Campus to meet Edna and see if she’s a great match for you. Don’t forget to visit www.wihumane.org/adopt to see all the other deserving pets available for adoption.
