Kenosha YMCA Launches Community Contests for Water Safety Month

For over 90 years the Kenosha YMCA has been focused on providing community programs that strengthen our city. From the state of the art fitness center to aquatics, sports leagues and even licensed childcare, the Y leads the way in providing affordable programs for everyone from youth to seniors.

Kenosha, WI — May 2025 — In honor of Water Safety Month, the Kenosha YMCA is making waves with two exciting community contests designed to raise awareness and promote life-saving water safety habits.

Wear Your Life Jacket to Work Day Photo Contest

Grab your life jacket, strike a pose, and help spread the word about the importance of wearing a life jacket while enjoying water activities. Participants who wear a life jacket at work, snap a photo, and submit their entry will be entered to win a 3-month Kenosha YMCA Family Membership.

The Pier is Not for Play Water Safety Coloring Contest

Get creative and show off your artistic flair while supporting water safety. Visit the website to download coloring pages by age group. This community-wide coloring contest invites kids, teens, and adults to color the official contest page, submit a photo of their masterpiece, and enter by May 31, 2025.
